Gosh I loved this episode! Fun to watch you knitting AND sewing AND serging. I found it really relaxing. (Need to watch this again whenever I have my Blood Pressure read at the dr. office…as it is always elevated there!)
I was especially happy to see your serger! Just yesterday, I put a down payment on the exact one that you have in your sewing room. I’ve been following trends in sergers for a few years, and this is the one I feel will best fit my needs. Like I often do with big purchases, I laid awake for a while last night wondering if I’d really done the right thing…and when I saw that YOU had the exact same one that I bought, it was a sign…yes! I’d made the right choice!
I’d love to see you talk about your experience with this machine and how you use it in your fabric constructions. I noticed that you were using both the sewing machine and the serger for the little romper.
Also, I have that exact same purple snap-setter! I’ve been very happy with it, and not had a snap fail. Have to admit though, that I just as often elect to hand sew them on too.
Anyway, it was a gratifying episode to see that you have several of the same kinds of tools that I have, especially when I saw the Enlighten Serger!
(oh, and I also ordered a pastel mini-skein set of yarn from Mama to Abigail just last week!)
